The journey is always customized to the client’s needs. The first three steps are always included:
Initiation + Activation makes sure we know where we are going together, and collects the needed resources for us to get there.
Gathering + Sensing happen when we come together to do whatever we need to do together. This part is highly individualized.
Reflection + Prototyping is necessary, although often skipped. It is necessary because the purpose of meeting is to create change and this is more effective when we take the time to learn from the gathering and lay out some initial steps or experiments for enacting the change we want to see.
Support + Tending are how you help the change stick, which is the HARDEST part. This often involves follow-up coaching with the core team or leaders to tweak, refine, strategize, and encourage their progress. It might also call for additional Gathering + Sensing engagements with a wider group to keep the initiative moving and effective.

Consultation on your next meeting design
When the path forward isn’t exactly clear…
Sometimes you have it mostly figured out, but you could really use a leg up.
A little bit of help can be A LOT of help.
An hour or two of consultation with someone who can listen to your exact needs, offer simple solutions that you can implement, and get you feeling good about your project, can be an easy next step.
Wayfinder provides hourly consultation for:
Meeting design - you know you can lead the meeting, but are feeling less sure about how to put something together that will really work.
Jeanie has decades of experience designing engagements and can easily suggest exercises, sequences, and whole agendas.
Facilitation technique - the agenda isn’t complicated, but you want to make sure everyone is heard and the meeting begins and ends in a good way.
Jeanie knows the techniques that enhance engagement - and those that crush it. She can quickly get you up to speed on the things to do that will make your next meeting a breath of fresh air.
Coaching on next steps - you just need someone to talk to about all the moving parts. You know you can execute, but it’s all a lot right now.
Jeanie is a certified coach, well versed in systems thinking, an attentive listener and well-equipped with questions and exercises that can shift thinking, clarify situations and open up possibilities.
“Wayfinder helped us focus our time and conversation to what really matters, and gave us the opportunity to finally get to the heart of where we wanted our organization to go. I will forever be grateful for Wayfinder’s participation, and it certainly re-energized all of our members.”
